TRIS AMINO tromethamine is a popular buffer used in the purification of biological molecules. In addition to providing mild alkalinity for buffering at physiological pH levels, TRIS AMINO buffers also aid in chemical stabilization in aqueous formulations and can minimize salt effects. Expression Systems offers several grades of TRIS AMINO buffers to meet different end use requirements.

• TRIS AMINO™ Buffer, ACS grade is an excellent general-purpose buffer for R&D and diagnostic applications. It has a purity of 99.8% and is tested to American Chemical Society (ACS) specifications. TRIS AMINO ACS Buffer grade is manufactured under ISO 9001:2015, with strict process controls and monitoring in a non-cGMP environment.
• TRIS AMINO™ Ultra Pure Biologics grade is manufactured to the highest purity levels (99.9%) under cGMP.  It meets USP/EP monograph specifications and is additionally tested for endotoxin and bioburden.  It can be used for biochemistry applications, including DNA, RNA and protein purification and assays.
• TRIS AMINO™ Ultra Pure Molecular Biology grade is manufactured to the highest purity levels (99.9%) under cGMP. It meets USP/EP monograph specifications and is additionally tested for DNase, RNase and Protease.  It can be used for biochemistry and molecular biology applications, including DNA, RNA and protein purification and assays.
