Expression Systems is proud to announce the expansion of its liquid media manufacturing capacity from 2,500 liters to 18,000 liters in a single batch. The 18,000 liters is offered in either one-liter bottles, bulk media transfer bags, or a combination of both bottles and bags.
This increase in capacity is a leap forward in Expression Systems’ ability to service the Biologics Industry with large scale lots of media. The larger capacity allows Expression Systems to offer increased single lot volumes of its proprietary formulations as well as offer high volume lots of custom formulations.
“The Biologics industry has been seeking to reduce the number of media lots in their manufacturing campaigns.” says David Hedin, CEO of Expression Systems. “Our ability to deliver large amount of ready-to-use media will allow them to do that.”
The ability to produce large batches comes with a commitment by Expression Systems to secure enough raw materials to manufacture without interruption. Building upon a strong Quality program, Expression Systems develops collaborative relationships with both vendors and customers to ensure a continuous supply of quality products.
